Updated 2013:  Seeking Experienced Ultrasound Repair Technician/Engineer for troubleshooting, repair and servicing. 

    General Accountabilities Use knowledge of network support, PC workstations, software, and systems to resolve problems in a timely manner. Responsible for field service calls for troubleshooting and repairing ultrasound equipment. Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturers' manuals and applicable policies and procedures, using hand tools, testing apparatus, power tools, or measuring devices. Responsible for field service calls for troubleshooting and repairing ultrasound equipment. Territory: mostly CA only with extremely minimal out of state Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment. Maintain inventory control for parts used on service calls. Inspect and test malfunctioning medical or related equipment, following manufacturers' specifications and using test and analysis instruments. Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective parts. Perform preventive maintenance or service, such as cleaning, run diagnostic tests, or adjusting equipment. Examine medical equipment or facility's structural environment and check for proper use of equipment to protect against electrical or mechanical hazards and to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Study technical manuals or attend training sessions provided by equipment manufacturers to maintain proficiency in the field. Explain or demonstrate correct operation or preventive maintenance of medical equipment to personnel. Interact with client vendors and support technicians when working with third party software/hardware issues. Instrumental in organizing service personnel and overall service area.
